Rubbish in field

On Wednesday a group of boys (?), adolescents anyway, set up a camp in the field to the east of Green Lane. It was down by the stream at the bottom of the field.

As far as I'm concerned this activity is a good one. They partied late into the night, according to people that live by the canal. Yet again that's what adolescents do – so good for them.

The real problem is that they have left a huge pile of rubbish behind, lots of black plastic bags etc.

I"ve just had a closer look at the rubbish pile and surprisingly it consists of two discarded tents, one half burnt and lots of white rubbish bags filled with empty vodka bottles and beer and lager cans and bottles. Why put everything in bags and then just leave it all there?

I hope they can be persuaded to take everything away but it has been there for two days now.

The parents must know who they are. Could they, or the boys themselves, come back with a view to tidying it up?
