Last year, as regular readers may recall, two members of the AudlemOnline webteam worked with a team of Years 5 and 6 pupils at Audlem St James' School to produce a School Newspaper during the summer term.
That newspaper was considered a success and the webteam is now working with six pupils, including the three from last year who are now in Year 6, and three new members from this year's Year 5.
Each has their own role as editor, technical editor, sub editor, photographer and sports reporter and two reporters.
All the news and feature stories were chosen by and are being written and edited by the team and they are also conducting interviews, taking photographs and designing the publication which will be printed by Audlem Printers towards the end of term.
The editorial team is also creating a crossword, a quiz, several puzzles and recipes – indeed two very successful recipes were tasted by the team yesterday and met so much approval that both will be shared with readers.
The team are seen here hard at work. They are so accomplished that the AudlemOnline web team's role has been limited to gentle encouragement and technical advice, particularly on puzzle design.
