Roofing on the new Annexe

Our readers may have noticed that the new Public Hall Annexe is now at its next most exciting build phase. The roof tiles are now being installed.The rear side of the roof is nearing completion and the front is well on its way.

Meanwhile detailed discussions have been taking place about all the internal electrics, including Wi-Fi provision throughout the Annexe as well as in the Public Hall.

The APHAx committee has to admit that its collective brain is starting to suffer from the complexity of detail of some of this stuff and the variety of technical solutions that exist. After a discussion meeting this week, the plan for the electrical connections looked as though several inebriated spiders with legs covered in red ink had been crawling all over the drawings.

With the roof on and the building secure from the elements we shall soon get our first real look inside the Annexe – a very exciting moment.
