A wonderful local lady has recently donated to Audlem Mill her beautiful stash of needlework fabrics. These fabrics have been resurrected as "fat quarters" and larger fabric packs, and we have been selling them, with proceeds going to St James Church.
We have donated the huge sum of £242.50 over the last year to the repair fund.
The "fat quarters" are priced at only £2.50 each, with larger packs priced accordingly, so the total donated is something to be extremely proud of. Thank you to all the people who have purchased, and added to their own future stashes, or as we have seen lately in the village, created outstanding face masks!
However, a couple of weeks ago, the beneficiary changed, and future sales proceeds will be donated to Macmillan Nurses.
So far, we have £85 for them, and this will be passed on through the Coffee Morning collection; the amount made will be announced then.
Many of the fabrics will make stunning face masks, with a huge range to select from. Please come to Audlem Mill and look for yourself.
Macmillan Nurses are a very worthy cause.
