Ramblers Walk – 25th April

Jeanette Shenton is leading the Short ARS walk on Saturday 25th April 2026.

West of Market Drayton town walk 4.7 miles.

Meet at Audlem Public Hall car park to leave at 09:00.

The walk leaves from Market Drayton Leisure Centre TF9 1JT where there is ample parking.

For those who want to join at Market Drayton meet at Market Drayton Leisure Centre to leave at 09:30.

This is a mainly flat walk over paths, fields and bridle paths, with some town walking. There were no livestock in the fields when I did a recce and the walk is relatively dog friendly with stretches of town walking as mentioned above.

There are only 2 stiles, the circular walk takes us along Bottom Lane, past Buntingsdale Hall, Market Drayton Golf Course back to Market Drayton Leisure Centre.

NB All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.

Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.

Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
