Ralph & Audlem Cemetery
So many tributes.. what a man!. His contribution to so many was tireless. His humour, energy and dedication has enriched so many lives.
Ralph's work in the Cemetery went above and beyond.
- Reinstating the old war graves and having a memorial engraved for those lost and almost forgotten must have been great comfort, a selfless act with great impact.
- Also the area commemorating the 8 children that tragically lost their lives in 1year touched Ralph deeply. He arranged a permanent seat engraved with all their names and had the area adopted by the Burial Board. Such an act of compassion.
- The avenues of trees planted in memory of loved ones are an everlasting tribute of Ralph's generous and caring spirit.
- We can't forget Covid... undaunted by risk to his own health he tirelessly ran the gauntlet... delivering hot food and provisions to people who were unable to go out.
He has enriched so many lives
One of a kind.Ralph... an icon of our times
