Viceroy's House

Viceroy's House is a 12A rated film about the Mountbatten era as India gained independence.

Director Gurinder Chadha delivers a lavish yet heartfelt account of the household caught in the middle of India's partition

Two very contrasting Guardian reviews of the film as a valid historical account can be seen here and here.

But either way it seems to be worth watching.

Tickets are £5 each and the film starts in Audlem Public Hall at 7,30pm on Saturday May 13th.
