Potential ice danger

Monday's Audlem Parish Council meeting heard that there was a severe risk of ice on the road in Bagley Lane as soon as temperatures drop because gullies have not been cleared.

Cllr Dave Siddorns described how the blocked gullies were causing water to run down Bagley Lane from near the canal bridge towards Coxbank and Swanbach which could freeze causing a really dangerous surface as the road slopes down towards the A529.

Cheshire East have been informed of the potential danger.
