Plants damaged by vandal

An ADAS (Audlem District Amenities Society) committee member has contacted AudlemOnline to report that four of the stone troughs outside the church in the centre of the village have been jumped in and trampled by a vandal, almost certainly last night.

If anyone is aware of someone seen last night with muddy shoes, and possibly a known dislike of pansies and hyacinths, ADAS would love to hear from you.

Hopefully, most of the plants will survive, as seen in the photos of two of the troughs, but it's a pity that the hard work of so many ADAS and Audlem in Bloom volunteers suffers in this way.
