Planning councillors to visit Audlem

Audlem Parish Council has been advised that there are to be site visits of both the land east of Heathfield Road and the land west of Audlem Road (by Little Heath Barns) by Cheshire East Councillors, in advance of the Strategic Planning Board meeting on 9th October.

These are scheduled for Friday 4th October at 12.15pm and 1.00pm respectively.

The Parish Council will have a presence at these site visits to observe proceedings, although the visiting councillors are not permitted to engage in conversation with local representatives.

AudlemOnline adds: Those that followed the excellent TV series 'The Planners' on BBC2 will know that protests and comments directed at councillors on planning committees can cause, all too often, more harm than good on such visits.
