Piano recital in Drayton

This is a bit outside "our" area but it is the type of event we rarely get in the locality, so we are publicising an outstanding piano recital at the Festival Drayton Centre.

Sunday 21st January

At 3pm on Sunday 21st January, rising star Daniel Lebhardt will play Brahms' Ballades, Bartok's Out-of-Doors suite, and pieces by Scriabin and Ligeti.

Daniel has performed concertos with the Hallé, Royal Philharmonic, and National Philharmonic of Ukraine orchestras.

A multiple international prize winner, he has played in leading concert halls across Europe, in South America, the Far East, and the USA, including the Kennedy Centre in Washington DC. He was praised by the New York Times for the narrative sweep he brought to his playing... along with power, poetry and formidable technique.
