Petition of objection to Mill Lane development

We wish to record our strong objection to this scheme on the grounds that access to the proposed site will directly affect us.

Although the proposal does not mention Hillary Drive or Broadway the vast majority of
building machinery and materials will use these roads as the only thoroughfare to the site – in fact right past our front door which is only 20 metres from the junction with Heathfield Road.

Should this development go ahead then the people who come to live there will add to the already difficult traffic problems at the peak periods. To underpin our personal objection we have raised a petition of over hundred signatures from people who live on these access roads – namely

• Heathfield Road
• Broadway
• Highfield Drive
• Hillary Drive
• Mill Lane
• and Salford.

Our concern is with the scheme in total not just the number of houses to be built.
