I see in Chat box that there is concern for pet rabbits from Myxamatosis.

There is a vaccine available from veterinary surgeons. Like any vaccine it takes a few days from administration to the onset of immunity.

Our experience at this end of the village is that it is a particularly vicious virus this time. Our rabbit population has virtually disappeared with several found dead in the pastures.

The virus is not transmissible to man so handling sick rabbits is not a risk.
