The Autumn edition of the Audlem Parish Council newsletter is now being distributed around the parish. As always, some extra copies are available at the Post Office for those who live nearby and would like a copy.

Editor Margaret Roberts has brought together a wide range of local news including the following note from the Audlem Village Traders: "Britain's economy appears to be sailing into stormy waters and no doubt the ripple effect will hit our local shops and businesses but, with Christmas fast approaching, we would urge you all to explore the full range of goods and services on offer within our village. We will do our utmost to serve your every need and your support will help to preserve a local sustainable community."

Over the coming months, Audlem Online will be running a series of features on local businesses and services. With the opening of the new Bo'tique in the past fortnight and the exciting news – see Audlem Online news on 29th October headlined 'From Cows to Canals' – of a new marina being planned for 200 boats just outside Audlem, including a small chandlery shop, boaters' café, launderette facilities and a boat workshop, the village's facilities are still expanding. The more they are used, the better the chances of the community retaining vital local services.
