Parish Council meeting tonight

It's the October meeting of Audlem Parish Council this evening, Monday, 3rd October, in the Methodist Church Hall, starting at 7.30pm.

Members of the public will be invited to comment on any of the items on the agenda or draw attention to matters of concern before ordinary business commences.

The agenda can be seen by clicking on the PDF below the photo. It includes, under the Playing Field Complex, an update "including outcome of review."

Last month's meeting included a very heated debate about the way the Parish Council has handled the possible acquisition of the playing field complex. The minutes of that minute can be seen also by clicking on the second PDF below the photo. It includes a detailed description of the discussion and, as an Appendix, Cllr Mike Hill's critical report which sparked off the debate.

Whether this month's meeting leads to a resolution of the way forward will make the meeting well worth attending for anyone interested in the future of the playing field complex and who should run it.
