The next Parish Council meeting is on Monday 7th October at 7.30pm. It will be held in the Methodist Rooms on Shropshire Street and residents are welcome to attend to speak at the public forum or listen to Councillors discuss various issues affecting the village.

Amongst many issues, this month's meeting will cover the Economic Strategy for Cheshire East Consultation & Engagement, speeding & flooding concerns from residents, the installation of ponds by Cheshire Wildlife Trust at Turnpike Field and searching the space with a metal detector and purchasing additional CCTV to cover the playing area.

Councillors will also discuss delivering a programme of Heartstart courses for 2020, Audlem business & tourism group proposal for new brown signs and ADAPT issues including cycle racks, water fountain proposal,'ACER' (Audlem Carbon Emissions Reduction) project update and ADAPT's concerns of the lack of appropriate bus services between Audlem and Leighton Hospital.
