Pantomime 1st Night

and what a night it was!

Firstly, our Roving Arts Reporter (possibly raving?) took advantage of and very much enjoyed an impressive Pre-Theatre Menu at the Lord Combermere – menu is shown below. (The LC is a major sponsor to the Pantomime)

The near capacity audience were treated to a well rehearsed and faultless performance (well, nearly but nobody cared! – it was all part of the fun).

Booing, cheering, clapping, laughing and even singing are not mandatory – just inevitable!

The only non-pea related names were for the baddies (unless somebody tells me that Mildew and Maggoty are indeed pea varieties).

Naturally the plot was as odd as the naming, but the baddies were of course unsuccessful.

There has clearly been a huge investment in time and effort by the cast which incudes many youngsters – deserves our support. 

Started at 730pm and finished just after 10pm. Bar was open.
