Packed House at the Chilli Night

The Public Hall was packed on Saturday night as villagers and friends enjoyed a Chilli meal and dancing to the band California Blue, who even managed to get the AudlemOnline editor displaying his talents on the dance floor.

The evening was organised by the APhax committee and in particular Ralph Warburton to raise funds for the exciting new Public hall Annexe that is soon to be built. The work is due to start on the 7th November. A raffle organised by Olive Stretch raised over £600 and overall the evening is expected to have raised some £1500. Guests were also given the opportunity to purchase a nameplate for the Annexe wall.
