Ralph Warburton of ADAS reports: "We held the Crewe Male Voice Choir concert last night and I am delighted to report that the event was a great success with a full hall enjoying the rich timbre of the men's voices as they sang both traditional songs and those from the world of lighter music.

"Julie Hesketh, our newly appointed Vice Chairman, acted as MC for the night and welcomed Jenny Collis-Smith and the choir to our presentation. A good raffle supplemented the funds raised to cover all the costs – including a very fine bottle of Fortnum & Mason's champagne donated by one of the ADAS committee. All in all a very fine community evening."
