Owner found – dog missing!

Two weeks ago a lady walked in to the Bridge Inn with a dog that had been found wandering the streets. As she could not find the owner she took the dog home. The dog was a rust coloured terrier. The lady does live in the village but I didn't get her name.

Today, however, a lady from Nantwich came in to the pub in tears as her dog has been missing and that she had advertised in the Shropshire Star asking if the dog had been seen. This had resulted in a customer who was having a drink in the pub at the time the dog was originally found making contact. He told the Nantwich lady that it was in Audlem somewhere.
