Two pictures which are "out with the old" for 2021.
The infamous leaning wall at the top of the hill on Whitchurch Road is no more. It had moved significantly over the last few weeks and must have been near to collapse, so an accident avoided.
The canal is closed and the top gate at Lock 4 is being replaced, probably after 25 years use. Now loaded onto a Canal & River Trust boat for removal.
