NSPCC support group raises £430

At their latest fundraising event held on Thursday 6th December the local NSPCC support group raised £430 for the charity.

In spite of atrocious weather, the evening was well attended and visitors were able to buy products from "Shoe-B-Do", "Virgin Vie" and "Phoenix Trading" ie designer shoes, handbags, makeup, jewellery, home furnishings and stationery and more – all at very competitive prices. Thanks go to all who supported the occasion in any way, and especially to Michelle Perkin for allowing it to take place in her house and for providing all the refreshments. Watch out for news of the next NSPCC fundraiser which is due to be a musical event in the Public Hall on Saturday 15th March 2008.
