No Guy Fawkes night fireworks this year

Following a number of enquiries ASET would like to reiterate our decision to cancel the annual Firework Display which was posted on AudlemOnline earlier in the year (click here for the original article).

For the past 19 years ASET has organised a village firework display to celebrate bonfire night for the village.

Regrettably due to declining attendance and ever increasing costs this event has become unsustainable. Traditionally bonfire night has barely covered its costs but in recent years has incurred substantial financial losses which have threatened the future of Party on the Park and the Transport Festival.

Therefore with a heavy heart ASET has now decided to cancel this event. We know this will cause huge disappointment but trust you will understand the reasons for our decision.
