Next Wednesday Walk

The next Wednesday Ramble is on the 3rd September and will be led by Peter Jackson, meeting time is 09.30 in the Public Hall Car Park.

We will leave the Car Park and head for Salford and Mill Lane, and onwards to Monks Lane which will lead us to The Parkes. We will then cross the busy A529 where the path will lead us to Hankelow Mill. From Hankelow Mill, we cross fields with 4 Stiles, which are in good condition. When we reach the canal we will have a short break for refreshments and then carry on down the canal to The Shroppie Fly. The walk is 5 miles in total.

NB. All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.

Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.

Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
