The Spring issue of the Audlem Parish Council newsletter is being distributed at present. As well as reports on many village organisations, it features a directory of the wide range of clubs, societies; charities; youth activities and village services.

This edition includes an article on Williams newsagents, probably Audlem's oldest family owned business, having been in the same family for five generations since 1862. The business is still moving forward and offers, for example, household and haberdashery goods, toys and even some DIY products, so saving a 15 mile round trip if you've forgotten a paint roller.

For those visiting Audlem, Judy Benson has introduced the Tourist Information Centre where you can also access Audlem Online via the two computers installed at the back of the shop. Judy is now considering setting up a plastic bag recycling facility where you can take unwanted bags and other shoppers can re-use them.

A number of newsletters are available in the Post Office for those that live outside the Parish but like to keep up with local news.
