New Years Eve Celebrations

As most of you will know by now, there will be no firework display or bonfire this year on November the 5th.

But.

We are seeking to have the traditional New Years Eve welcome, with the muffled bells of our magnificent St James church ringing out the old year and then, as the clock strikes out the 12th hour of the night, the wonderful firework display over the Square and the new year, 2020, dawns . Then our bells ring in the year with peaks of welcome.

I am anxious to repeat the magic of the night as we did last year when folks gathered to see in the new year -- a really good happening wishing all a great new year as we begin a new life and adventure for the U.K. I need your help in giving me donations towards the costs of the fireworks. I have already received some funds but need much more.

So I appeal to all. Give me what you feel you can and help make this village once again the centre of the universe in being such a great community . Big bangs will be lessened as much as we can. But I promise wonderful huge glittering effects.
