New Years Eve 2020

Tonight we will have what has been the traditional display of a Pyrotechnic Display in the night sky over the Village square. Begun in the year 1999, to welcome in the Millennium year of 2000. And all that that may mean for all of us.

The time since then has been quite a mix of highs and lows for all and for the world.

But now, tonight – we aim to despatch this Covid year into history and to look with hope that 2021 will bring good health for all and an end to this vile virus. Perhaps we will learn lessons as a race, that Pandemics can and will happen – we , humans are the ones who make then happen after all.

So – look out Sidney, New York, Singapore, The Thames in London. This is Audlem!
