It's a new month so, naturally, it's a new Vote Poll on Audlem Online. We all have to live with the flashing lights which, it is said, are to warn you of on-coming traffic in Stafford Street. Sometimes they do, other times they appear to flash at random. They attracted much debate when they were installed as an experiment to improve traffic flow through the village. But what do we think now after living with the lights for several years?

A working group on the Audlem Parish Plan meets shortly to consider the strong views residents had about the A525 (Stafford Street) and Heavy Goods Vehicles driving through the village. Your views on the flashing lights will be helpful as the group pulls its ideas together.

Last month's poll on the elected mayor for Crewe & Nantwich was much more one-sided than other recent polls – 90% were against the idea – but the real vote, the official referendum, takes place this Thursday.

You can vote now on the flashing lights by clicking on your choice to the right in the Vote Poll section and then clicking 'Vote Now'. You get just one vote. You can review the results throughout the month, and the results of all previous polls, by clicking on 'View Results'.
