Owing to the huge popularity of FASA’s Rag Bag Collection days at Audlem St James Primary School, we have now installed a permanent textile collection bank.

Our Rag Bag campaigns have already raised close to £800 for the school since we introduced it in February. We hope the introduction of the new bank will enable us to generate a more steady income, and also to capture missed opportunities.

As you will see from the list below, we accept some textiles that most charity shops can’t take:

  • All men’s, ladies and children’s clothing

  • Paired shoes (tied together)

  • Handbags, bags, ties & belts

  • Soft Toys

  • Blankets

  • Underwear to include socks, tights, pants and bras etc

  • Household textiles to include towels, bed linen, curtains (not duvets, pillows or cushion pads)

The bank will be accessible during school opening hours when the main gates are open, due to its location.

So, whether you are having a pre-Christmas sort out or just have the odd item that you no longer need, please bear us in mind. Thank You!
