New Royal Mail record

Everyone knows of the local postal delays and lost mail in recent months. We have, however, just heard of what may be a new record for a local delay.

Reuben Palin says: "An indicator for my VW Beetle that was posted on 30th November from Cardiff arrived here in Audlem on 2nd February. The company had already sent a replacement out which arrived a week after they despatched it and I have had to reclaim the cost of the now unwanted first indicator from the Post Office."

Can anyone beat 30th November – 2nd February. Answers by enmail – not on a postcard!
