There's a new Homepage article published today on Audlem Online by Monique Hollinshead. We did run this fascinating insight into an unusual local business as a 'News' story a couple of weeks ago but felt it also deserved a longer airing on the Homepage.
Regular readers will recall Monique's amazing success in the Triple Ironman event this summer, reported on Audlem Online. In one weekend she swam over seven miles, cycled 336 miles and then ran three marathons, that's 78 miles. She was the only woman to compete and was tenth overall out of thirty starters in one of the toughest events ever held in Britain.
In the Homepage article, however, Monique describes her unusual 'day job' in freelance costume making and design for theatre and television.
Over the past month, Audlem Online has published five Homepage articles: by veteran pilot Geoff Farr; a separate tale of aerial photography by his son Steve; a debut article by seventeen year old gap year student Alex Denby and last week's article by Hannah Bradshaw describing her adventures in Honduras.
All the Homepage articles can be found via the News page, reached via the horizontal blue bar. Monique's article can also be found by clicking on its title on the Homepage or simply click on the link below the photos.
