National Butcher's Week – Oxtail and Trotter

This week we are celebrating National Butcher's Week.

If you are not a regular customer, please feel free to come and have a look at what we have to offer. We are happy to answer any questions about where our produce comes from and how we prepare meat for sale. Our head butcher – Simon – has 40+ years of experience in the butchery trade and there isn't much he doesn't know.

We are happy to source anything out of the ordinary. We have recently hosted our first "Field-to-Fork" event for some of our customers. We started off with a lunch of Wagyu Sirloin sandwich & glass of red wine at the O&T HQ, we then travelled to farm to see where our specialist Wagyu sired beef comes from & how it is farmed (see picture), following some excellent hospitality from our suppliers we headed back to Audlem for a butchery demonstration from Simon. The attendees then were able to have a go themselves and learnt a few butchery essentials (see picture).

National Butchers Week is all about making our business more accessible to all and in line with what the butchery trade is trying to achieve this week we are happy to offer a 15% discount* on all orders placed through our Order Ahead facility online this week (for collection & payment in store).

Easter Orders now being taken. Easter is fast approaching and I am sure many of you will be making plans to catch up with family and friends over the Easter break. If you have decided what you are up to, and most importantly, what you are eating, you might want to tick that extra job off your list by ordering with us. This way when the Easter weekend comes around all you will have to do is pop down to the Number 11 courtyard to pick up your joint of choice.

You will obviously also need to pop next door to LLLovely to load up a good stash of chocolate eggs!

We will have Spring lamb, turkey, chickens, ducks and we will have some more Wagyu beef in, but make sure you get your name down as the orders are stacking up for this!
