The Nantwich Neighbourhood Policing Unit has issued a warning to boat owners in the area. DS David Jones says:

This letter is to inform you that unfortunately a number of burglaries have taken place on narrow boats in the Nantwich area. In an effort to ensure these are isolated incidents we would like to take the opportunity to ask you to help us avoid any further burglaries by reading the information below and follow the advice it contains.

If you have seen any suspicious vehicles, persons or have any other information, please contact us on 0845 458 6378. Or call into Nantwich Police Station between 9am – 5pm Monday to Saturday. Your call will be dealt with in complete confidence and the information you supply may help us to further reduce burglary and other offences in your area.

Your local beat officers are PC Iain Condliffe and PCSO Nick Jarvis.

Thank you to Anthony Davis of Overwater Marina for forwarding this letter to Audlem Online.
