Music & Arts Festival Report

I write to report on the Festival we held over the May Bank Holiday Weekend this year.

This event has been going in two forms since 2001. All put on by a group of very willing and dedicated volunteers whose only desire is to put on a very good show with a brilliant kaleidoscope of both music and art .

This year we were so blessed by fine weather and the crowds who attended over the five nights and three days gave witness to this. A wide range of music was enjoyed to the full with our three pubs enjoying very good patronage. Great Arts exhibition of mainly local talent was evidence of the skills hereabouts.

Amazing camp site provided by a very willing local famer was well used and kept clean – to the credit of all who used it.

We , the team, would like to express our most grateful thanks to all the businesses in the village and beyond for the financial support they so freely give in sponsoring the event. Every business here was part of the drive for funds .

This, with the Major sponsors as detailed in our glossy programme, enables us to continue to offer it all totally free to all comers .

A huge thank you to all and to those who came to AUDLEM for the biggest such free event in all of Cheshire and Shropshire.
