The four pigs which were living at the end of Moss Hall lane were visited by many children and families from Audlem. People walking their dogs across the footpath would stop to look at and often feed the pigs.

I know that when they were moved they were sadly missed as I was regularly asked where the pigs had gone.

Well, just to let you know they are all fit and well and have had a happy summer rooting a patch of ground up near Hankelow. They have grown tremendously and are still living free-range on a field of turnips. Happy as pigs in mud you could say.

One pig 'Rose' has now returned to the Moss Hall and given birth to 9 healthy and very cute piglets! The Daddy pig 'Bart' will be returning to his arc at Moss Hall while the females have their young.

I hope you like the photo taken on Tuesday of 'Rose' and her hour old piglets.
