More support for Donna Louise

The recent charity quiz night at the Lord Combermere was a great success, as I have already reported.

The waves of good that are so evident here continue unabated. On Friday night, a new-comer to the village of Buerton, and as such one of my new neighbours, made an open offer of medical equipment to go some way to meeting the needs of the Donna Louise Hospice – all free!

Even more, a new-comer to Audlem met with me yesterday as I was out delivering cards. Asked how the quiz and the charity auction had gone, I told him that we had raised the great sum of £1100. There and then he gave me £100 to add to the total.

So I am delighted to say, the Audlem Donna Louise support group of which I am a member, has now reached £1200.  A fantastic result.
