A number of other points came out of Thursday's meeting in the Public Hall that we didn't cover in our report yesterday morning.
Residents at the meeting heard that Neighbourhood Plans – and presumably the fast-track alternative, although this wasn't confirmed – can stipulate:
However, a Neighbourhood Plan has to conform in general with strategic elements of the Local Plan produced by Cheshire East and also has to contribute towards sustainable development.
Residents also heard how Neighbourhood Plans , and the fast-track Resident First Plans, differ from Parish Plans.
Audlem has produced two Parish Plans, in 2005 and 2010. A submission and request for funding has been made to Audlem Parish Council to produce a 2015 Parish Plan which is on the agenda for Monday night's meeting.
The Community Projects team that have made the submission has been told that an updated Parish Plan would mesh in well with both Cheshire East's Local Plan and any Neighbourhood Plan Audlem produced following Thursday night's residents' vote to proceed with both a Resident First Plan and a Neighbourhood Plan.
Parish Plans deal with a much wider range of issues of local concern than Neighbourhood Plans and their fast-track versions which deal with planning and development issues specifically.
Monday's Parish Council meeting, when all these plans will be discussed, is at 7.30pm in the Methodist Hall.
