Yesterday, we published Christine Johnson's article about the success of the Art Exhibition at the Audlem Festival last weekend which was attended by over 900 visitors.

Christine sent us a number of other photographs which we are showing here plus a repeat of Emily Hardy's 'artography' of Nantwich station which proved the most popular work in the exhibition – all attending were given a dot to stick next to their favourite.

The exhibition featured work by the two art groups that meet in the village, the Wednesday watercolour group (10.00am – 12.00noon every week in the Scout & Guide Hall) and the art group led by Christine Johnson that meets every other Friday at 1.00pm – 3.00pm, also in the Scout Hall.

There were some wonderful works by other local artists including the pupils of Audlem St James' school (bottom left) and a panel of pencil portraits and other works by Philip Johnson, no relation to Christine. (top right)

As three of the photos are portrait shaped, you will have to click on them to see them in full.
