Model Railway Club – Update

Wrenbury & District Model Railway Club

As we approach our first birthday we are delighted to have doubled our membership numbers.

Since the club formed on the 29th of January 2014 the original 12 founder members continue to support and grow the club which meets every Wednesday from 7 to 10pm in the Village Hall
Cholmondeley Road Wrenbury CW5 8HG.

Here we are constructing layouts in 00 to facilitate both DC and DCC running and N gauge in DC mode.

With an age range from 14 to 84 and a vast range of abilities our aim is to encourage and develop interests in the hobby and railways in general.

New skills are learned every week across all aspects of construction. Our library of DVDs, books and magazines continue to grow for those seeking ideas, research or just enjoyment.

We hope to have a second 'Open Doors' event this year and are constructing a small portable layout to take to external events.

Non-members are always welcome to drop in for a chat and a brew.
