Messages from around the world

As well as the messages going up on the Forum about Audlem voting to be part of Wales, others are getting in touch with a variety of suggestions. Local resident Ruth Kemble asks: "Is a remake of "Passport to Pimlico" imminent?" Debbie Harris says: "It was so funny reading about your little village on the BBC website about you guys voting to become Welsh...it brought a huge smile to my face ...we are never too proud in Wales to refuse the friendship of the English despite what rumours say...this made my day!"

We have had messages from Denmark – on the Forum now – and greetings from the United States. Radio stations in both England and Wales have been running stories while BBC Wales ran an excellent news story yesterday with interviews with many Audlem residents.
