Speed Enforcement took place on Whitchurch Road Audlem on Monday between 11:00am and 11:25am. During this period 55 vehicles passed, a mixture heading in and out of the village.

Unfortunately 4 vehicles were found speeding, nothing strange in that you might say, but all belonged to addresses in the village.

This is disappointing when one of the biggest issues from residents is speeding vehicles in and around the area.

On this occasion warning letters will be sent, but in the future our new Trucam will be used meaning that all information will be processed by our Central Ticket Office which could mean fines and points on your driving license.

We ask everybody to drive carefully and within the speed limits for everybody's safety
