CARE HOME MARKS DEMENTIA AWARENESS MONTH WITH MEMORY WALK

Quality care specialist, Morris Care, marked dementia awareness month with a fundraising day and memory walk for residents and their families.

Corbrook Park "which sits on the Shropshire-Cheshire border and is one of seven premium homes owned by Morris Care" saw residents, families and friends come together to raise awareness of dementia, and collect funds for the Alzheimer's Society.

The national initiative organised by the Alzheimer's Society, aims to raise money for a world without dementia and takes place throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The walk was held in the stunning grounds of Corbrook Park, with themed memory stations dotted along the route to spark conversation, explained Home Manager and Dementia Support Officer at Morris Care, Carolyn Farmer. "A great day was had by all and we look forward to hosting more fundraising events across our homes in the months and years ahead."

As a family business with over 25 years of clinical care excellence, Morris Care has clearly defined its reputation as one of the most professional and committed care providers across Shropshire and Cheshire, promoting dignity and respect in all that it does.
