Meet Yoda – the cat with 4 ears

Illinois couple Valerie and Ted Rock were in for a shock when they took in a stray cat found wandering around a bar in Chicago.

Their new pet had two more ears than usual – making him slightly different from his feline chums. Apart from the extra ears, the cat which is named 'Yoda' after the famous pointy-eared Star Wars character, seems perfectly normal.

Since being kindly adopted by the Rock family and after getting his picture posted all over on the Internet, the two-year-old feline has become an international media celebrity.

The Rocks have received offers from major news channels Good Morning America, Fox News and The Tyra Banks Show in the States, as well as appearing in the Guardian over here (and Audlem Online).

However Yoda's proud owners are keeping a close watch on their much-loved pet. They are concerned he could be catnapped because he is unique.
