McCarthy & Stone application goes to Committtee

For those trying to use the Cheshire East website link to look at the planners appraisal, the website appears to be "down" at present (10.30am). – Ed

Planning application 17/0339N (the McCarthy & Stone Retirement Lifestyles Ltd plan for retirement living housing using part of the Anwyll development at Little Heath) comes before the Cheshire East Southern Planning Committee on Wednesday, 5th July, 2017 at 10.00 am.

In spite of several objections, not least from Audlem Parish Council, the recommendation from the Cheshire East planners to the Councillors is to accept the application. One of the conditions the Planners want to impose is a £250,000 S106 contribution to affordable housing schemes in the local area.

Audlem Parish Council submitted a document on 22nd February 2017 which highlights the many aspects of the Audlem Neighbourhood Plan which are infringed by this application, as well as the several factual errors within it.

The last date when objections can be submitted is July 3rd.
