McCarthy and Stone Decision

McCarthy & Stone decision delayed

Parish Councillors arrived at Municipal Buildings for the Southern Planning Committee Wednesday morning to be informed that a decision on the McCarthy & Stone retirement housing had been deferred.

Apparently Cheshire East want to revisit the sum the developers are proposing to pay in lieu of providing affordable housing within the retirement complex.

No revised date was given but it is presumed that the application will be heard at the next Southern Planning Committee on 9th August.
