Low power in village

There have been lots of reports of houses in Audlem that are without (or partial) power this morning, since around 9.00am.

The cause is unknown, but we can assure people that it is completely unconnected with the sewer repair work that is going on in the middle of the village, as their scheduled work has yet to begin this morning.

AudlemOnline adds: Fortunately, we had just enough power to publish this but suffering from caffeine deprivation as impossible to coax an espresso out of the machine.
