On Saturday we, a very small band of four, braved a raw wind in standing in the village with our two "Love St Luke's Valentine" campaign.
Susan and Charles Cavill and Carol Fitzsimmons (of Hankelow) stood station by the Deli and the Coop for three hours and more.
Many kind people helped us with their donations and I am so very please that with the two buckets we had , we have raised just under £250 for this really super cause.
But I still do not understand why someone puts a Hong Kong coin into such a collection.
Sad in many ways that they feel the need to so act, but it did not spoil the good feeling our small group have from doing a job well.
We hope to help St Luke's in the same way next year.
