Long ARS to Glyn Ceiriog

Saturday April 13th

Kate Down is leading next Saturday's circular walk from Glyn Ceiriog.

Meet Audlem Car Park at 8.30 am.:-

The walk starts with a steep climb out of Glyn Ceiriog to cross the Ceiriog Trail.

We then continue more gently upwards to Vivod Mountain on the North Berwyn Way, which we follow for a while, leaving that to walk through the Ceiriog Forest and back to Glyn Ceriog, via a couple of waterfalls.

Mostly on good tracks/paths and minor roads, with only a couple of stiles, the total distance is 11miles approximately and total height gain is about 2000 feet.

Driving time to Glyn Ceiriog is about an hour. Meet in Audlem Car Park at 8.30 am.

NB All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.

Non-members of ARS are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
