Visitors to Audlem may be interested to hear that an Audlem walks leaflet is available in many of the village's shops such as Williams' newsagents; the Post Office; Mill Shop; Overwater Marina and others.
If any other businesses would like to stock the leaflets, please ask at Williams' newsagents where stocks are held.
The leaflet features six walks – they are all on Audlem Online under 'Local walks' in the Tourism section (click on the link beneath the photo) – ranging from a gentle 30 minute walk to a couple of routes that might take up to three hours.
Local residents interested in taking a walk will be interested to hear that the Audlem Medical Practice Patient's Group is planning a communal walk in early September. It will probably follow a 'figure of 8' route centred on the village so that those wanting a shorter walk can enjoy half of the route while those looking for more exercise can follow the full circuit.
The likely route will be similar to the one used in the Methodist Church's walk last July which attracted over sixty participants. More on this communal walk as plans are firmed up.
