Local roadworks updates

Following the recent stories, and announcements of changed dates by Cheshire East Highways, Kirstin Dixon, clerk to Audlem Parish Council, has established the following dates when local resurfacing work is likely to take place and roads will be closed:

• 21 -22 September: Hardys Lane (Coxbank)
• 23 – 25 September: Paddock Lane
• 28 – 30 September: Hankins Heys Lane (Buerton)
• 1 – 5 October: Longhill Lane
• 6 – 7 October: Bagley Lane
• 8 – 9 October: Kettle Lane
• 21 October: Windmill Close (Buerton)

Also there are roadworks with 2 way signals scheduled for the A529 Audlem Road, Hankelow from 21st September to 2nd October for "footpath overlay" work to be carried out. I imagine that if the signals are left in place overnight they could impact Audlem residents' commuting times.

Advance notice has also been given for temporary traffic lights on 21st and 22nd October on A525 Woore road by the junction with Paddock Lane (BT works).
